The verification is carried out using the Hash code generated for your profile document which is deposited in the blockchain.

Then Submit the file and receive your file Hash, which you can match with your profile Hash displayed on your profile page.

Large number of Authors linked their Crypto-PID to their professional information — author bio, education, publications, social media accounts, academic networks, conference proceedings, citations, and much more. Crypto-PID can be used to share your secured and verified information with other research and publication systems, enabling you to get proper recognition and credit for all your work.
We aim to expedit the process as fast as possible, finishing the process in around 5 working days after we receive your complete application. Incomplete applications, or applications pending the payment of setup fees shall be kep pending for a period of one week then it shall be discarded from our systems.

Crypto-PID has implemented a security mechanism that allows for easy and prompt validation of our Hash. Visit the Verification Page and upload your Deposited file. The PDF is then checked against the blockchain and a matching Hash shall be generated in return.
You have full control over your PID page and fields. Crypto-PID allow you to change the Visibility settings of your profile fields. If you want to stop sharing any of your profile fields, just change the field's Visibility settings from "Everyone" to "Only Me".
You can always upload, change or delete your pforile photo. Just click on "Change Profile Photo" and Upload a new one.
You can also choose to delete you photo from our servers by navigating to the "Delete" menu item and click on "Delete My Profile Photo" Button.

After your account is activated you can start adding content to your profile fields by clicking on "Edit" menu item - and under "Edit Profile" you can choose any of the menu items you want to edit or add content. Please note that you can't change the content of any of the fields under "Blockchain" and "Verifty" items, since they are locked by our systems for security and authenticity.
Some fields require that you enter content in a multi line form, to prevent errors during this process, please don't copy and past from other word or pdf documents. You may type your content or copy it from Notepad text editor. You may also choose to past the text by clicking on the "Text" icon within the text editor.
It is also advised to enter the DOI of your published paper instead of entering the entire citation.
